Theme: "Building a better tomorrow"
This concept was thought about how we, as individuals of Alpha Phi Omega, contribute to the community as working members of society. As members of this brotherhood, we are committed to making a positive impact on our communities and society as a whole. Through the service projects we developed, we strive to create a brighter future for those around us, whether volunteering at a local food bank or organizing a fundraiser for a charitable cause. By working together and utilizing our diverse skills and perspectives, we believe that we can make a meaningful difference in the world and build a better tomorrow for generations to come.
Service Project
For this year's conference, we are organizing a book drive for which we will donate to the local elementary school in Sherman, Tx. We recognize the importance of providing children with access to books, and we want to contribute to their learning and development. We need YOUR help to ensure the success of this project, it would be challenging to gather enough books to make a meaningful impact.
Hotel
If you are planning to attend the conference, please note that we have secured discounted rates for the day before the event, and you have until 2 weeks prior to the event to book your hotel room.
Here is the link to the hotel: https://www.bestwestern.com/en_US/book/hotel-rooms.44644.html?groupId=4P5UQ7R3
The address to the hotel is 810 N US Highway 75 Denison, Texas 75020 United States. This is a 13-minute drive from Austin College.
Fellowship Event
We are excited to inform you that we are considering hosting a fellowship event after the conference has concluded. We are currently exploring the possibility of having a group outing to HayDay, which is a bowling place in Denison, Tx. This event would be an opportunity for attendees to relax, socialize, and network with each other in a more casual setting. However, we want to make it clear that this event would be out of pocket and not covered by the conference fees. We hope that you will consider joining us for this fun and informal gathering.
